Student success statement
‘’stop worrying about whether your going to win or lose and focus your full attention on what’s happening right this moment.’’

I think that’s this means to focus on things that you’re doing right now. Because if you worry about the future then you shouldn't because it is not happening yet and your supposed to focus on things that are happening right now. the important thing that matters is now because the future will happen when it is time.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Jackson

Student success statement
‘’everyone is the architect of their own learning’’

I think that this means that everyone has their own responsibility. They can’t blame anyone else for it the blame is on them. Because everyone has a thing to do you cannot blame anyone if they didn't bring what you asked for. for example if you work on a project and you have to pick a partner then you have to pick wisely because if you don't then the person you pick could play around and not do the work at all.

Speaking skills 2 of 10
When you’re assigned a class presentation, think twice before dismissing it as in unimportant part of your education. Employers look for speaking skills in job applicants, who may have to give presentations to clients or represent their organization in the field. It’s never too soon to practice good eye contact and other public speaking techniques
According to the book of list the fear of public speaking ranks number one in the minds of the majority of people. Far above the fear of death and disease, comes the fear of standing in front of crowd. Joel wiener noted the author and public speaker wants to help people overcome fear.
‘’the biggest fear is public speaking with 15 percent of American expercing a dramatic fear of it,’’ said dr.michael telch of the laboratory for the study of anxiety disorders (lsad) in the department of psychology at the university of Texas at Austin. People have to turn down jobs and certainly students have dropped classes because of it.’’
Regardless of your occupation your success depends a great deal upon your ability to communicate effectively! Weather your running a meeting, selling a product making a presentation. Motivation co-workers or just communication one on one with other you’ll get far better results if you can speak persuasively smoothly and intelligently.

Student success statement
‘’your future is created by what you do today, not tomorrow’’
i think this means that whatever you do today it will effect you in your future because if you do it now then something in the future will happen but if you do it tomorrow than nothing will happen because it is to late. so it is always important to do it now than wait tommorrow or someother day.

Student success statement
‘’every time I've done something that doesn't feel right, it’s ended up not being right.’’
This means that when he does something that he is not suppose to do it become all wrong and it goes bad. Because he had  a feeling that everything is going to go all wrong and not right. But if he has a feeling that it is right then everything will go right and not wrong.

Take control of homework so it doesn’t control you part 1

http://www.collegeboard.com/student/plan/boost-your-skills/121.html •
Although very few students love homework it does serve purpose. Homework helps you:
• Reinforce what you’ve learned during the day.
• Build study habits that are essential in college.
• Prepare for your classes
• Get a sense of progress. Here are some tips to help you deal with homework efficiently and effectively. Set the mood Create a good study area with everything you need (for example a calculator) if you don’t have a quiet place at home. Try your school or local library. Know where to begin Make a list of everything you need to do and not all deadlines. Do the more difficult assignments first so you don’t have to face them at the end. Study at the same time every day Even if you don’t have homework every night use the time to review notes. If sitting down to work is part of your normal routine, you’ll approach it with less dread. Also you become pro at using time productively. Choose the right!

Student success statement
‘’you must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right’’
This means that if you're doing something right don't be scared. You know what you're doing so it doesn't matter if someone says what are you doing don't be scared to tell them because you know you’re doing the right thing.

Marion jones Olympic cheater

What she did is that she chooses the wrong. She was a wealthy human with a good future. She had goals to achieve and she did but then she choose the wrong and that ended her career. She lied to people she knew and people that tried to help her be better. She took steroids just to be better. To be better you need to practice every day not cheat your way in it.

Man returns stolen cash to Seattle Washington sears      60 years later
This is not bad at all because at least he returned it. Well yeah it would have took him years to return it back but at least he returned it and not steal it because there is a lot of people that steal things and never give it back. But he knew that it was the right thing to do is to give it back and not keep it because it is not his. He is guilty and tidiest matter what he did in the past because you can’t obviously do anything about it.

                Academic Success part 1
My great academic success: in my principle of marketing class, we had to come up with a new product and sell it. My group ended up with couple supposedly bad students according to our teacher since they were the last ones picked. In the end the helped out more than needed since I was a team leader I assigned them certain pieces of the project that became solely their responsibility. Delegating work always helps since it allows a group member individual work with ought separating the group.
English, math, foreign language tips: Math basically just takes practice. I always tell students to take a blank piece of paper and write everything you know about what you’ve learned or what you’re studying in this class. If you don’t remember everything or start drawing blanks, then you need to study more and review your class notes. Note cards work really well for foreign language. Here are my final words of wisdom for kids who want to get better grades in college; go to class, make friends with people in class just in case your absent and remember that you should want to learn.
