Problem-solving skills 4 of 10
Problem solving goes far beyond your math textbook. Ever assignment is an opportunity to weigh all possible solutions carefully and choose the one you think is the best. As a working professional. You’ll be solving problems regularly, wither its fixing a bug in a computer program or overcoming budget shortfalls. Problems loving situations occur extensively and frequently; therefore by ready when then come. When problem or challenges occur some people look at them negative experiences. As a crisis. These people are the ones who live day by day with gloom and negativism in their attitudes. But the really successful people, those who are cheerful and optimistic are those who look at problems as opportunities, opportunities to learn, grow, expand their horizons and make new discoveries. They look on the bright side of things and live happy lives.

Online learning part 3
Read between the lines
Make a judgment about the sites reliability based on your own analysis of the site and the information it contains. Here are some ways to do this
·         Look for facts you know or can check with a trusted source. If the site gets those facts right it’s more likely that the other facts on the site are also accurate.
·         Study the language used. It is angry, satiric or overly impassioned? This may indicate that the site is biased.
·         Consider whether the arguments are logical and backed up by the evidence and whether the site presents only on point of view.
·         Check the links to the sources that the author acknowledges scholar writing whether in print or online should include a bibliography.

student success statement
''the first law of success is concentration: to bend all the energies to one point, and to go directly to that point looking neither to the right nor the left.''
i think that this means that if something seems right to you then go do it. don't go looking back front left or right because if you no what your doing than you don't got to do any of that.

                 Note taking strategies
http://www.collegeboard.com/student/plan/college-success/955.html
For review
Once you’ve done all of the above you’ll find you created your own personalized study guide. Cover the main section of the page and use the key words and questions in the left margin as a quiz.
Stick to it
Review your notes the day you take them and all your notes once a week. That way you won’t need to study as much when its test time. You were doing the work all along. Try out the Cornell system but oaf it doesn’t work for you experiment with other methods. Ask your classmates how they take notes or ask a teacher for advice. Taking good notes requires practice, like any other skill. And more you work at it now the more prepared youll be to take notes in college.

Distance education: is a virtual classroom for you part 4 of 4
Emphasis on the written word
Most of the communication as well as the course work in distance learning classes are written. That’s a plus because the focus on the written word gives you the opportunity to develop as a writer and strong writing skills are essential to academics success. However if writing is serious weakness for you virtual learning may not be the best educational option until you imporveyour skills. Yes most distance education is the written word therefore you need to be a good reader love to read and love writing also. Most of your assignments will be written and submitted to the instructor in the written format. Your penmanship need to be excellent spelling great sentence structure above average vocabulary extraordinary. You need to have online access with reliable equipment. If your internet communications at home isn’t working you can’t do online education from home and will need Togo to someplace where you do have access to the internet.

Decide whether it’s right for you
Distance education isn’t for everyone but it just might be for you. You really should seek it out and give it a try. You never know until you try. You might even fall in love with distance education. While distance education may be the perfect alternative for some students it’s not the right choice for everyone.so carefully consider your unique need and interests and give distance education a try then decide if it is right for you.,

Distance education: is a virtual classroom for you? Part 3
Challenging aspects of distance education
Lack in person interaction: some educators argue that both teacher students and students contact are essential to learning. In a distance learning classroom you may be able to participate in class discussions online in chat room, message boards or web conferences but it’s not the same as being with other students in a class room
Different levels of quality: Much distance education programs supply an excellent learning experience but others may not research any program before signing on to make sure is rigorous enough. If you are choosing your own program it’s rigorous enough. If you are choosing your own program, look into its accreditation before enrolling.
The need to self-start distance education lets you make your own schedules if you have a hard time getting motivated this might not be the ideal educational setting for you

Man returns stolen cash to Seattle Washington sears      60 years later
This is not bad at all because at least he returned it. Well yeah it would have took him years to return it back but at least he returned it and not steal it because there is a lot of people that steal things and never give it back. But he knew that it was the right thing to do is to give it back and not keep it because it is not his. He is guilty and tidiest matter what he did in the past because you can’t obviously do anything about it.

                     The power of study groups
                                                    Part 2
The benefits of study groups
Group study offers advantages in addition to gaining a deeper understanding of class material. These include the opportunity to: reinforce not taking. If you ape biology notes are unclear you can ask a member of your study group to help you fill the gaps. Share talents. Each person brings different strengths such as organizational skills the ability to stick to a task or a capacity for memorization.
Cover more ground. Group members may be able to solve a calculus problem together that none would have solved alone. Benefit from support system. Memebersoften have common goals such as good grades. Each person’s work affects the other members which results in making members supportive of another socialize. It’s more fun to study with others the give and take makes it more interesting. And because it’s more fun you spend more time studying!

develop good study habits
in college you will need to build on the study skills that you learned in high school. the demands of a college class are probably more rigorous than those you are used to. you can succeed by knowing what to expect and how to handle it.

think of college as a full time job in which you spend 40 hours a week on a class labs study groups and doing homework.

being organized and using your time well are essential. learn more about time managment and use the guidelines below to develop your study skills.
 decide when to stud
work out about how many hours you need to study everyday. then make a schedule.
figure out what blocks of time you have available throughout  the day in the evenings and on the weekends.

consider what time of day you are most alert there are morning people and night owls and try to schedule your studying accordingly.

think about whether you do better studying for a few hours at a time or sitting down for marathon sessions.

                               Successful students 7-8
7…. Understand that actions after learning. Successful students know their personal behavior affect their feelings and emotions which in turn can affect learning.

If you act in a certain way that normally produces particular feelings you will begin to experience those feelings. Act like your bored and you will become bored. Act like you’re disinterested and you will become disinterested. So next time you have trouble concentrating in the classroom ‘’act’’ like an interested person lean forward place your feet flat on the floor. Maintain eye contact with the professor, nod occasionally, take notes ask question’s. Not only will you benefit directly from your actions your classmates and professor may also get more excited and enthusiastic.

8…talk about what they are learning successful students get to know something well enough that they can put into words. Talking about something. With friends or classmates is not only good. For checking whether or not you know something it’s approve learning tool. Transferring ideas into words provides the most direct path for moving knowledge from short term to a long term memory; you really don’t know material until you can put it into words. So next time you study don’t do it silently. Talk about notes, problems, readings, etc. with friends, recite to chair, organize an oral study group, pretend your teaching your peers talk learning produces a whole how host of memory traces that result in learning
