Student success statement
‘’start with what is right rather than what is acceptable.’’

I think that this means that do something that is right first because it is more important than doing something that is acceptable. Because if you do something that is right you can only do it once but if you do what is acceptable you can do it any other time. So it is more important to start off with what is important. For example if you want to do something is either now or never but if it is something acceptable you can do it any other time you have lots of time.

Speaking skills 2 of 10
When you’re assigned a class presentation, think twice before dismissing it as in unimportant part of your education. Employers look for speaking skills in job applicants, who may have to give presentations to clients or represent their organization in the field. It’s never too soon to practice good eye contact and other public speaking techniques
According to the book of list the fear of public speaking ranks number one in the minds of the majority of people. Far above the fear of death and disease, comes the fear of standing in front of crowd. Joel wiener noted the author and public speaker wants to help people overcome fear.
‘’the biggest fear is public speaking with 15 percent of American expercing a dramatic fear of it,’’ said dr.michael telch of the laboratory for the study of anxiety disorders (lsad) in the department of psychology at the university of Texas at Austin. People have to turn down jobs and certainly students have dropped classes because of it.’’
Regardless of your occupation your success depends a great deal upon your ability to communicate effectively! Weather your running a meeting, selling a product making a presentation. Motivation co-workers or just communication one on one with other you’ll get far better results if you can speak persuasively smoothly and intelligently.

Writing skills 1 of 10
Communication is at the top of the list of skills that employers look for. And communication in the work place often means writing.
Health professionals keep patient charts, researchers depend on the money they collect by writing grant applications, software engineers write technical specifications, and nearly everyone writes e-mail to people inside and outside organization. And before you even get the chance to interview for a job you’ll need to present yourself in cover letters and resumes.
So by taking writing serious and doing your best on every research paper every lab report you write, every new post you write in your blog site and every writing activity you engage in. your preparing  yourself for a good career.

Student success statement
‘’to see what is right and not to do it is want of courage.’’
I think that this means that if you see something that is right but yet you choose to choose the wrong then is not right. Because if you see something that is right then go do it as soon as possible because nothing negative will come up that’s only if you choose the wrong. So it is always important to choose the right.

Exam day: survival tips-taking part 2
During the test
Read the directions
It’s important that you follow the instructions exactly. For example some questions may have more than one correct answer.
Answer easy questions first.
Doing this can jog your memory about useful facts. You may also come across information that can help you will other questions.
Answer every question.
Unless there is a penalty for wrong answers, try to answer every question: you may be able to get partial credit for those you begin but don’t complete correctly.
Ask questions
If a question isn’t clear talk to your teacher. If that’s not possible explain your answerer in the margin.

student success statement
''the first law of success is concentration: to bend all the energies to one point, and to go directly to that point looking neither to the right nor the left.''
i think that this means that if something seems right to you then go do it. don't go looking back front left or right because if you no what your doing than you don't got to do any of that.

Balancing high school and part time work part 4
He reminds students that the activities and courses students choose vary considerably so it’s important for you people too keep their individual situations clearly mind.’’ McGowan continues, ‘’for example, students actors should allow for the fact that they won't have as much time during performance seasons. Student athletes need to remember the times of the year that they'll be tied up with games and practices. Other students who are in classes that make considerable demands outside of the classroom must keep that reality in mind.

Man returns stolen cash to Seattle Washington sears      60 years later
This is not bad at all because at least he returned it. Well yeah it would have took him years to return it back but at least he returned it and not steal it because there is a lot of people that steal things and never give it back. But he knew that it was the right thing to do is to give it back and not keep it because it is not his. He is guilty and tidiest matter what he did in the past because you can’t obviously do anything about it.

Getting The Most Out of a Session
Here are some tips to help your group get the most out of each study session:

·                     Decide what you're going to do in advance.
·                     Prepare for the session so you can make the most of your time together
·                     Take turns teaching to reinforce your own knowledge
·                     Stick to the session topic

By supplementing your individual study with group you can reinforce what you learned deepen your understanding of complex concepts and maybe even make a few friends. Remember that a friend is a person who encourages you to do your best and to achieve on a high level one who pushes you try little harder and be a litter better.ifsomeone pulls you down the wrong trails of life than those people are not friends they actually your enemies and you must avoid them at all cost. Whoever said learning can’t be fun learning is enjoyable and exciting when you study with others.

                       Sarah's success story
                                   part 2
my test study method  i have different strategies for different types of test or subjects. for me any type of math is exceptionally difficult so i had to spend extra time on that. i would go back through the homework problems focusing on the problems that i  had extra difficulty on. many times i would ask the teacher for any additional study materials they could provide. if it was a class that required memorization or applying concepts i would create a sort of study guide for myself many times focusing on what were key focal points in class. if i knew there were going to be essays i would try to take the terms and apply them to an example or create different questions on the concepts focused on throughout the semester. my time management secret i always always always carry a planner with me. i even use different color highlighters to show what each even on my calendar is for. for example pink is personal, yellow is school. orange is work, blue is for appointments, and green is for my sorority. although i use whit out frequently, i can see in bright yellow that if i have that project for finance due on Tuesday i need to start working on it [the previous] Wednesday so i can get it done. my friends have always been amazed at how early i get things accomplished but that is really i all do.
