I think that this means that do something that is right first because it is more important than doing something that is acceptable. Because if you do something that is right you can only do it once but if you do what is acceptable you can do it any other time. So it is more important to start off with what is important. For example if you want to do something is either now or never but if it is something acceptable you can do it any other time you have lots of time.

Every time you respond in class every time you choose your own research topic, every time you put together your own interpretation of a piece of literature, you take initiative. Self-reliant people are self-starters who don’t procrastinate on getting the job done. They know what is required to do me t and do it. Be sure to provide examples that support it. Now repeat the question read and recite steps for each section of the chapter. First ask question for the next section. Then read to find the answer. After completing the chapter, reviews your notes. Identify the main points by looking for most important idea in each section. Recite, or wrote a brief summary of the assignment.

Well yeah it would have took him years to return it back but at least he returned it and not steal it because there is a lot of people that steal things and never give it back. But he knew that it was the right thing to do is to give it back and not keep it because it is not his. Laura B.’s Academic Success Story

In high school I was one of the good students who didn’t really have to study to be a good student. The information that I took for notes in class usually stunk in enough for me to be able to get by on the test by simply reviewing the material just before the class began. It wasn’t that I didn’t try, I had a 4.0 all throughout high school, but I never really had to put forth much of an effort to get the result that I wanted to see. In college however, that changed. Not only did I start studying and reading books. But I began to understand that the little tiny facts were just as important as the goral concepts. My overall study method: I do the reading that is required for the classes and I try to keep up. If I do fall behind I usually use the reading that I did not get as an additional study aid. I take good notes in class and actually attend every class that I can. Sometimes with volley its entire tough because we are on the road a lot, but if I do miss class because of volleyball I make sure that I get notes from another student in the class. Also for a subject such as chemistry, I do practice problems to helm me understand what the material means.
