Student success statement

‘’honesty is the corner stone of character. The honest man or woman seeks not merely to avoid criminal or illegal acts but to be scrupulously fair upright fearless in both action and expression booth in dollars and in peace of mind.’’

i think that this means that people that don't do anything that they get into no bad situations and things like good things are always going to happen to them no matter what. because they are not bad people. unless your bad then bad luck will happen to you.
Honesty 9 of 10
Honestly is always the best policy. Employers need to know that they can trust you with everything from company credit cards to trade secrets. How can you work honestly? You demonstrate integrity every day that you do your own homework and resist the temptation to cheat on exams.
What is honesty?
·         Honestly is telling the truth.
·         Honesty is straight forward conduct
·         Honestly is being sincere truthful, trustworthy, honorable, fair and loyal with integrity.
You are being honest when you…

·         Do your homework
·         Tell a friend the truth
·         Explain the real reason you didn’t turn in your homework.
·         Keep your eyes on your own paper
·         Clean up your room after making a promise
·         Give the cashier the extra money she gave you by mistake
·         Write report in your own words instead of copying
·         Admit your mistake
·         Keep a friend’s secret
·         Turn in a wallet full of money that you found

Student success statement
‘’stop worrying about whether your going to win or lose and focus your full attention on what’s happening right this moment.’’

I think that’s this means to focus on things that you’re doing right now. Because if you worry about the future then you shouldn't because it is not happening yet and your supposed to focus on things that are happening right now. the important thing that matters is now because the future will happen when it is time.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Jackson

‘’truth is the only safe ground to stand upon’’

I think that this means when you’re touching the floor it is the safest place to be. Like if you’re in midair it it’s dangerous for example if you’re skydiving you could not be safe because you could die.so it is always safer to be in the ground than to be in the air do dangerous things because you never no what could happen.
Attention to detail 7 of 10
When you double check your calculations for a math problem or cite sources carefully in a research paper, you’re paying close attention to detail. That skill come in handy in any work place, wither you maintain a database, keep a log of the hours you spend with clients or write emails. John wooden, uncle’s former great basketball coach who led his teams to ten consecutive national championships, was asked what he attributed his success to. Among a number of things he mentioned that paying attention to details was one of the most important qualities for successful coaching and for high achievement in any worthwhile pursuit. He even paid attention to how his players would lace up and tie there shoe strings. If they didn’t tie them correctly he would teach them how. Details may be small things but from small things therefore pay attention to details and you will experience substantial progress in your overall educational attainment.

Student success statement
‘’everyone is the architect of their own learning’’

I think that this means that everyone has their own responsibility. They can’t blame anyone else for it the blame is on them. Because everyone has a thing to do you cannot blame anyone if they didn't bring what you asked for. for example if you work on a project and you have to pick a partner then you have to pick wisely because if you don't then the person you pick could play around and not do the work at all.
