this means that if you have friends that do bad things like drug or drink to not hang out with them. is better to be alone because you will not do anything bad you could be home and play video games instead of being in the streets and doing drugs.  so if you have a friend that does drugs to not hangout with them because they are a bad influence and you will try it because they will convince you to.
